For years, I taught — and practiced — an out-of-the-box approach to using DITA. The approach worked fine when my teams used small component content management systems (CCMS) or even no CCMS at all.
However, when our content outgrew our small CCMS, and we moved to a bigger one, some of the rules changed. We had to rethink our best practices for reuse and collaboration, for organizing and naming topics, and for maintaining XSL publishing transformations.
This session will help you know what to expect when you move your DITA content from a smaller CCMS to a bigger one.
