The <learningOverview> topic type contains objectives and prerequisites. It describes the learning objectives, course prerequisites, and intended audience.
In a <learningOverview> topic the main body-level element is the <learningOverviewbody>. This element can contain the following elements in this order:
- <lcIntro>: introduction to the overview
- <lcAudience>: facts about the students for whom the course is intended
- <lcDuration>: estimated time to complete the course
- <lcPrereqs>: any requirements for students before they take the course
- <lcObjectives>: what students should gain from the course
- <lcResources>: any resources used or extra information for the course
These elements may be followed by an unlimited number of <section> elements.
Here is an example of a <learningOverviewbody>:
